Logout/User Info Issue
Whenever I click the "Post Reply" button to post a reply to a topic, it'll either (a) go directly to the "Your Account" screen, or (b) log you completely out.

I've setup a test account, and you can try to post.

Any and all help is extremely appreciated!

Did you upgrade 2.0.15 - 2.0.16 - 2.0.17 - 2.0.18 - 2.0.19 - 2.2.20?

Sorry man, had to ask, you'd be suprised to know how many people just upgrade to the version they want and run into trouble because they didn't know the patches are not cumulative.

I see you setup a temporary username/password combo for your site but I don't think I've seen an actual link to your site yet :?

Oh, sorry about that.

It's www.multiplaylive.info

Again, it'll happen when you attempt to "Add Reply" to an already created thread.

Thats pretty weird indeed.

I look at the link properties for Post Reply and New Topic and they look allright.

New Topic: Address ->http://multiplaylive.info/modules.ph...ewtopic &f=10

Post Reply: Address -> http://multiplaylive.info/modules.ph...de=reply&t= 2

I'm assuming it worked fine prior to the upgrade?

The only thing I can suggest is use your db backup prior to upgrading and return back to the original version.

I'd also re-download all the upgrade folders and re-install one at a time. It prolly wouldn't be a bad idea to post a few things in your forums on each upgrade just to make sure everything is working fine.

Anyway, that's all I can think of because in truth, I have no idea why it's doing what it is, I've never heard of it happening nor seen it prior to today :?

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Duke, I tried to update my phpBB installation again, and again, the same error occured. I did notice, it started when I updated to the 2.0.20 version.

Maybe you should just leave your db at 2.0.19. I know it's the latest version but at least you know it works.

Personally, I never upgrade anything until I've read up on it because updating is not always a good thing. I'm an avid gamer as well so it's just become a habit for me to stay one or two versions back until the bugs are worked out.

You may want to check at bbtonuke mods and other nuke forum related sites to see if there is an issue with the upgrade.

There obviously must be some issue because I really can't see a reason for your button to re-direct you to the "Your Account" module since the button properties are as I posted above and seem correct to me.
