New Fresh Install Question
I wanted to do a brand new fresh install, how can I keep my current database is it just a question of keeping my old config file ?

I tryed a new install of 7.4 without keeping the config file, but ended up with a Blank page so I uploaded my old backedup files again.

To keep your old db table, as i think u want to do, u must upgrade your current version to 7.4. Overwriting or keeping your current config file won't work because all of your data are kept in *SQL tables and not in flat files.
If you want to do a clean install of 7.4 then i recommend you to use cs 7.4 installer, you can get it from here.
cheers
