Hi we are using php nuke7.4 I think and the problem is we have 15 waiting users. I have set the following

Smtp server addy smtp.btconnect.com
smtp user ukliftandhaul@btconnect.com
and my pass word for this acc. We use to have a hotmail acc there but you cant use it now. Since we changed it it wont send the reg mail so you cant activate the acc

Please any help much appreciated guys

Have you checked "Configuration settings in Forums Admin phpbb"

Enable account activation : None User Admin

My guess is you have it on Admin maybe ?

The other option : You dont really need to Use smtp settings, your site will forward any mails you need through emailer.php file.
