I am having issues posting news. I can submit , and I can post it (admin). click "put in home" and it never shows up.

I AM USING VER. 7.6 W/SUBBLACK THEME.

I have tried different stock themes. no go
I have also check the story table (according to post in here). it was ok

just cant get it done. Any help would be great

Are you using any html in your News posting?
If so, you need to make sure it is added to allowable html tags in your config.php
