I did all the steps seemingly fine. I went to www.mysebsite.com/nukesql.php and ran the test.

First time it said I had the name/pw/host wrong. So I fixed all the info and it said it was working. It listed all the tables, none had "nuke" so I letit do a fresh instal and ran the test again. Everything was set.

Now I go to www.mywebsite.com/index.php and nothing loads up. Not even a picture, just a white screen with the heading "My own website". I never once got an admin option or anything like that. :cry:

I know I must have missed something somwhere. Any idea what's up? Any help would be appreciated.

I solved exactly this problem today after checking v carefully the exact syntax of the string variables in my config.php file.

If your MySQL database is opening okay, then it can be something to do with the table names. Look carefully at leading and trailing blanks, dashes etc.
