problems from 6.0 to 7.5
I'm pretty much a newbie at this, and took over a site that had 6.0 on it. I worked with that a little while getting the hang of it. Now I've tried upgrading to 7.5 (site is www.latinoperspectivesmagazine.com )

This is where I've gotten to, and what problems I have:

Instead of the original default main page, its going to a 'pages list'
- where and how do I change this?

in 6.0, my navigation was in block-Sample_Block, Now that block doesn't show up on the site, and I don't know why or how to fix it.

I'm sure there's more problems, but for now, these are the one's I need to figure out. pleeeeeeze help.

Looks like your content module is set "in home" change it in admin panel, modules.

Regards your menu/blocks, have you ran the db upgrades from 6-7.5?

ahhh. just what I was afraid of. Someone would suggest going to modules. I did, but there's nothing there for me to edit, and I don't know why... there is definitely stuff in my database.. I can search and see the stories and such.

This is all there is on that page...

See your Modules/Addons current status and change it by Activating or Deactivating them.
New Modules copied on the /modules/ directory will be automaticaly added with Inactive status to the database when you reload this page.
If you want to remove a module just delete it from the /modules/ directory, the system will automaticaly update your database to show the changes.

[ · ] means a module which name and link will not be visible in Modules Block

I used the upgrade file at the link you suggested. It told me it was already version 7.5, so that's fine it seems.

All that means is that you have right version number in your config table, that don't mean that all your upgrades went in proper.

What you said up there about the empty module page would suggest a db issue to me.

Could be anything then. :?

Btw, you do realise that from 7.4-7.5 required more than just overwiting files? it also required removal of stuff too.
