Question about the Chronicles theme
I transfered the correct folder into my the themes directory for my PHP Nuke website. I've encountered a small problem though and I'm hoping someone may be able to help.

I'm using version 7.2, by the way.

Anyways, when I click on the preferences for the site in the admin area, the choice is there for the Chronicles theme. However, if I choose it, the site doesn't change over to that theme. If I try to preview the theme using my user account area, the choice for the Chronicles theme isn't there in the drop down menu.

Any ideas, advice and help is appreciated.

Alright, there poses a problem. I've looked through all of the files included in the Chronicles theme that I downloaded and there is no theme.php and there is no tables.php file. Any idea where to get them?

Just want to clarify, did you download the theme from here? I grabbed the pack and verified all the files are there.

If what you listed above is it, you're missing a bunch of folders and files (theres 52 files in the forums folder alone, you list 10). Like I said in my previous post, I verified the rar file so I don't know why you're missing all those.

Grab this> http://www.nukemods.com/temp/Pack-Chronicles.zip (up for 24 hours).

That is all the files zipped.

Peachy, thanks I got it. Uploading the files now so things should be good to go once it's finished transferring.

I wanted to add to this thread a bit by asking if there was a fixed version of the chronicles theme to protect from the sql injection problem?

I have been hacked thru the injection bug. Once was because I didnt have the latest php fixes. That has been fixed but now the same hacker got me again but this time it was thru the chronicles theme itself. Im guessing because that didnt receive a fix as did the rest of the site.

So, is there a fixed version of that theme?

If not, how would I go about fixing it myself? Im pretty new to php. so any help would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone has this info can you please post it here or e-mail me the info? Thanks in advance everyone! sargo@canera-project.com

Where's the indication that your hack was through your theme? Injection bug? You should definately incorporate Sentinel ( http://www.ravenphpscripts.com ) or some other hack prevention equivalent program for your Nuke site.
Have you patched your site with the latest Secuirty Fix package from here for your version of PHP-Nuke?
http://www.nukeresources.com
If not, then you need to. You say you patched for PHP. Does that mean PHP-Nuke?

Yes I patched for the correct version for phpnuke.

I also installed and configured NukeSentinel as well. (just finished )

The reason why I have reason to beleive it was thru the theme is because all changes to the bd were made thru the chronicals theme directory or so phpAdmin showed.

Is it actuall possible for a site to get hacked thru the theme files? I find it hard to think they can get in that way, but I'm no expert by any means!

Thanks again!
