Is it possible to be able to "Approve" a user before they can see your forums? If so, how might I accomplish this? I want tighter constraints on users and forums.
What I would do is create Groups for your forums and give the Groups certain permissions. Make yourself moderator of these groups. Then notify your users that they must Join a User Group in order to access certain Forums. The same principal is used when setting up Forum Moderators etc.
