Show right and left blocks on forums - 10-13-2004, 09:15 AM

Hi, as default when you click the forums link it loads the forums on the right hand side with the left block always present and the right block disappears. How can I make it so that the right and left blocks stay where they were and the forums load in the middle section?

I would also like any pages loaded to load in the middle section aswell, so that the viewer has all blocks on every page, I know this cuts down the poage width a bit but its what I need and cant see how to do it.

Thank You.

Sam.

Add this to your modules/MODULENAME/index.php file just below the global line.

Code:
/**********************************/
/* Configuration                  */
/*                                */
/* You can change this: */
/* $index = 0; (right side off)   */
/**********************************/
$index = 1;

Open modules.php and add $index = 1; after the globals.

Problems with the right block only in the forum - 11-25-2004, 04:27 AM

Hi its me again!
I put the $index=1 into the module.php --> and this works fine!
the right blocks are now shown in every module.

in the forum there is still a little problem with the blocks.
it looks like they are no longer inside the layout of the site....
normaly they are under the bar under the sitelogo.
in the forum they are right of the logo on top of the page...!?

http://www.pimplegionaere.de/modules.php?name=Forums

here u can see what i maen.....

maybe anybody knows this problem and can help me!?

Where did you get that theme? That is an outdated theme. Grab the updated version from our downloads.

how do i update the theme? is it possible to just copy all the new files into the Aeolus theme folder and replace the older ones?

where can i see/read updates between the theme's versions?

Changing homepage to show forums. - 06-05-2008, 04:53 PM

Hello , I am very new to PHP NUKE . I would like to have the forum in the center of my home page. I would like also to have the blocks appear on both sides of forums. I am using the fiblack3d theme if that helps .

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your time,
