Strange member keeps appearing
Hi,

I had a member register on my site and then post (spam) nothing but bad links within Comments on storys, This was their only interest in the site so I removed the member and banned the IP, however I keep seeing this same member name appear in my "ONLINE" list.

Now obviously they are useing proxies or new IP's BUT I cant work out how the name continues to appear ? It has been removed completely from the member list

Thanks in advance

What version of phpnuke and bbtonuke are you running?

If you have the IP addresses you can ban via Nuke Sentinal as well as your forums admin. You can also disallow the username via your forum admin.

Whether you deleted them or not is irrelevant, as long as they have the cookie from your site they will show up in your online list if they visit.

Obviously they cant do nothing if you've deleted the account and them showing in the online list is more an annoyance than anything else.
