Upgrade Issues on MySQL
OK I am trying to upgrade my version of Nuke to v7.8 as I need to get Banners working with Flash/Javascript etc (if anyone knows any other way please tell me as well).
When I goto MySQL and either Copy and Paste the querys or just select the nuke.sql file I get page cannot be displayed. I have have my Host check the server and the issue is not at their end. I can also just add a single line Query and it works no problems its just the complete new nuke.sql that seems to be the issue.
What I am wondering is do I need to remove the old querys first before adding these new ones as most of them obviously have the same name.

Yeah I did use search so if I missed the answer sorry.
Edit: Currently using 7.4 if that makes a difference.

That would be a slow or bad connection, or you have reached a limit ie: allowed to upload or copy&paste in the query box.

Your main problem is that some of the tables are the same, there should be a upgrade folder within your download, find that or find out what tables need to be upgraded. Then you will have to manualy sql these tables etc...

However heres a suggestion, download your exsisting database (structure & data) then download data only. This is for if anything goes wrong.

Now create a new database or just drop the old one completly.

Run the nuke.sql to create the new database & its tables, then run your (downloaded) data file into your new database. Thats it.......

Thanks for the reply Marty.

Regarding the Bad connection with page cannot be displayed it only happens when I do the complete nuke.sql file. If I just do 1 query it works fine. On ADSL so cant think thats a problem with connection.
Also there is not just an upgrade sql file - the one it has contains all the querys that are already there.
I have downloaded the datebase so I guess I will give your 2nd option a go.

Cheers again.

Edit: Doh just realised those 7.4-7.5 upgrade files do what you mentioned hehehe.

Will try those - thanks again
