Valation E-mails not being sent out? - 10-19-2004, 03:12 AM

I have a PHPNuke site ver. 7.4 and when a new member registers it goes through all the normal Registers functions but they never get an E-mail.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what modular has control over the E-mails being sent out and/or a solution to my problem.

any info will be greatly appreicated.

Your_Account module controls the emails for the registration.
Are you sure the server u are on doesn't have any problem with their email server?
NSN YA module had an option for activating your account without email activation but bob gave his project to another guy.
It's now called CNB YA and u can find it at http://phpnuke.org.br/

Well, the Server I was on did have a Problem after they installed a Security program. I did contact them and they tell me that it is Fixed now. I have tried everything and going to try your_Account module and see if that wasn't the problem. Thanks a Lot for the Info. I was at a total lost.

Now, since I posted that last post another problem has rose up.

I get Access Denied everytime I try to go into the "Section" of the Admin Panel. I am logged on as Admin. and I did activate it in the Modular and blocks. I checked the CHMod and changed it to 777? No Good. Still gave me Access Denied?

Any Ideas of what I did wrong or what is wrong will be Greatly appreicated again.

No hacks and no mods. It is a clean system besides what comes included in the install files. I did put the Bman1blue theme in is all I have did to it. And I just tried it and it still says Access Denied?

I have installed probably about 30 to 40 different CMS type sites and this is the 1st time I have ever had this happened to me. Oh yea, almost forgot I am running ver. 7.4 , Not the hacked version. I installed it through Fantastico AutoInstaller.

If you can help I will really appreicate it.
The URl is: http://www.chainclubs.com/freeclubs/ if you would like to take a look at it altho I can't see where that will really tell you anything.

Thanks again for any help

Well if he can admin all the others and sections is the only one that can't admin then the problem is with the module and not in user-side. But you never know
