Ive heard about ClanNuke which is a package of a set of modules which are ideal for my clan, it includes a calendar, roster, clan recruitment form, challenge-us form and other stuff.

I tried google but most of the links on those websites are broken, and the NukeCops download for it is broken too.

Where can I find it!!!! PLEASE!!! Its so sweet!!

Well I have ran Clannuke in the past and can help you a little with it...

(get Vwar instead...that sums up the whole post)

The site that created/supported it have been off line for at least 1 month now, I'm guessing that the creator decided to not work on the mod anymore. I'm sure that If I look around that I still have a copy that I could put on my FTP and send to you.

BUT To tell you the truth I got sick of screwing with it, the code has all sorts of problems. It is not easy for the admin to setup at all, you will tell it to do something and it doesn't do it correctly at all.

The database is completely screwed up...I had to move my website to a new host a few months ago and had all sorts of problems restoring the database. Come to find out that if the Clannuke parts of the database were removed it would restore just fine, but if any part of the database that had anything to do with Clannuke was in the database it would crash the database restore every time.. I don't know enough about PHP to figure out what was wrong with that part of the coding...

After spending 20+ hours getting everything to work the way that I wanted the first time and now having to restart from scratch really pissed me off. well now there was a new version out (3.0) but it seamed to have to same problems and maybe a few new ones... I got part of it recreated but never finished reinstalling it because I got so pissed about all the stupid problems...

Well then I found the Mod Vwar, it looked about the same plus it had a few other cool things. I ran a test install of it on my other server and was completely shocked at how much better it was (Admin side) there was a REAL admin section. The menu's were 50000% better than the Clannuke menu's. I have NEVER got around to finish making it look the way that I want for my website (got other things to work on right now) but so far I think that I will be using it instead of Clannuke.

you have NOT checked out Vwar at all then.

It DOES have a calender, roster, a think like challenge us, and a crap load more. I will see if I can find a website that has it up and running 100% it is everything that I Clan site needs plus more.

PLUS after you have checked out Vwar completely and you still want clannuke for some crazy reason I do have the 3.0 downloaded on one of my servers, just email me qlueless at hotmail dot com and I will see if I can find it and send it to ya

Good luck with the Vwar, it will take you sometime to make it look 100% like you want to. Unless they have changed it some from the last time that I downloaded/installed it you will have to mess with the theme a bit to get it to look 100% like you want, but that beats the hell out of all the problems that you will have with clannuke.
