Help please on removing left blocks from forums
Hi all,

can anyone help please, just read this faq on removing blocks from left of forums,
http://www.nukemods.com/modules.php?...iewtopic&t=376

i have done this but it just removes the left blocks and leaves a blank area where they where,

i need to extend the forums to full width please, and take up the area the blocks used, this will help spread the forums and not look so squashed,

this is a guest area of the forums on my site,

http://www.nissan4x4ownersclub.co.uk...viewforum&f=35

any help appreciated,

thanks in advance

Looks like there are some table issues with that theme already. It's not one of ours so I'm not sure what to say, is it available for download somewhere so I can look at it?

I also wonder how the page will look when you remove the locked pixels and change the forum size to a percentage of 100% :?

update so far is we have found an image above the blocks area we removed, called spacer.gif, it is touching the left theme border and the right forums area table, i'm pretty sure this is stopping the table moving left, but i'm quite new to this theme editing and hopefully you can see wot i mean.

thanks inadvance

Is this theme the modified version or is it the untouched version prior to editing?

It looks like you already fixed it.

So what was the issue?

hi all, thanks for you fast replies, i'm just waiting for a reply from a guy who has been working on my site for me, i e-mailed him to ask him to try and fix it, which i have just got the e-mail saying it's fixed,

like i say i have e-mailed him again to ask how exactly he fixed it, he has been very busy lately and i was not sure if he would have had time to sort it,

i will let you know what it was when he tells me,

still got the righthand side margin/border/cellpadding etc masking the end of the text lines, but looking good so far, if you can sort that masking out i would be grateful

btw the the theme zip etc was the original
thanks in advance

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "masking".

The only issues I can see is that your forums actually fall beneath right side border in Internet Explorer and look fine in Firefox with the exception of the left border being almost twice as large as the right.

Is this what your referring to?

BTW, there's really no way to understand the current issues without your friends updated files. :?
