Hello all..

I'm a newcomer to the phpnuke world and as such i am seriously wet behind the ears.

I downloaded and installed phpnuke platinum 7.6 on my local machine :
OS = WinXP Pro
Server = Apache2Triad

Everything is running ok,, and i did not recieve any errors at all during or after installation.

But i do have one question..

How on earth do i put flash banner inside a center block ?

I know, you will all tell me to read up on it, and i have done so for the past 3 days, with no luck :-(

Also, where do i put the .swf file ?

I've even tried making a flash centre block, still no luck.

Help me out please !

So whats the problem your having, like what errors are getting if any or does it just say HTML tags not allowed or something ?

OK heres the thing

1. if i try to put a flash banner into a center block, nothing happens, the block stays empty and says,,, no content provided... maybe i am doing something wrong ops:


2. I attempted to build a new block using the PhPnuke tools and help file and succeded in making the flash block but the block shows up with just a white space where the banner should be...

So both attempts failed...

now i'm at a loss, i have no idea what i'm doing wrong... maybe i am putting the .swf file in the wrong place... i put the .swf file in the images dir

your help is greatly appreciated

Could you post us a link to where one of your Flash banners are on your servers directory

www.yoursite.com/banner/flash.htm etc... assuming we can direct link to them ?
