Can I change the modules.php code... - 11-18-2004, 04:12 AM

module.php code
Line 19: require_once("../../PHP-Nuke-7.4/html/mainfile.php");

My folder name & hierarchy is www.mydomain.com/phpnuke74/html/mainfile.php

and my phpnuke is not sitting in the root of my domain.

I have a few errors happening - is this one of them, and should I change all necessary code that relies on the root domain hierarchy?

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but i'm scared if i change things (like b4) I may have to uninstall and intall again - twice already!

Thanks 4 any response.

Sorry, me again.

What I meant is, it seems I need to edit a file, don't know which one, so that my file hierarchy can be correctly referenced. P-Nuke 7.4 is always pointing to mydomain.com/modules etc.

There must be one field i need to edit here to change - hello - there's 1000's+ of em!

Thanks 4 any response.

http://www.yoursite.com/admin.php now go to Preferences and set the correct path to your site there and all your problems should be fixed

Yes I did change the path in preferences but this doesn't seem to be fixing the problem. The auto-email is collating a link back to the site which assumes the module.php is in the root directory?

It is happening for 'usergroups', 'submission' and I am thinking it will happen for any email configurated message. Hmm...

Nukemods auto link back is exactly what my link back looks like - ...

What seems to me to be the prob' is the forward slashes; in PhpBB and Php Nuke. In preferences, if I include or delete the forward slash at the end or beginning of the path it will build from that, but then the PhpBB screws it up and vice versa.

I'm sure this is just a matter of tweaking and correcting a few slashes in the code till both Php brothers are happy!
