Main page formatting gone haywire - 01-20-2006, 11:46 AM

Hey there,

Sorry, but didn't find a thread with my problem. The formatting on my main page has gone haywire for apparently no reason as I haven't done any mods, upgrades or anything different. I'm running 7.6 and have my "News" module loaded for the home page and it usually stays in the center, but if you check it out here it now extends all the way to the right and pushes down the blocks that are normally there (There's usually 3 across the top of the page)

Check it out here:

http://rottenzombie.com/nuke/index.php

Right now there's 2 reviews on the main page and both are html formatted the same way, yet the top one goes all the way across. I did double check and post something without the html formatting but it does the same thing. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
RZ

looks like to me that the top block is in html format and that it was not finished, This is why it's stretching across all the way. If I were you I would wait for someone with more experience to answer this - greets, killerbee.

It almost looks to me that you've closed all the tables in this one article. Is there any chance that you can post the entire html you used in that article here?

Here's the HTML I used in the review, I've used this same formatting for a long time on the main page with no problems. It does do this even with out the html though. Keep in mind I had to use "[" instead of "<" in the sample below.

Quote:

Dark Remains[br]
****[br]
DVD
[p]Directed by Brian Avenet-Bradley[/p]
[p]Written by Brian Avenet-Bradley[/p]
[p]Starring Cheri Christian, Greg Thompson, Scott Hodges, Jeff Lyons[/p]
[p]Produced by Laurence Avenet-Bradley[/p]
[p]NR[br]
93 mins[br]
[/p]

[br]
[p]Okay, I'm gonna sound like a fanboy one of these days. Because the more
and more I see roll out of Avenet Images that has to do with Brian Avenet-Bradley,
the more I wind up squealing and clapping my hands like one of those Wolverine
fanboys who only crawl out of their parents' basements for cons and New
Comic Day.[/p]
[p]This is just the case with "Dark Remains," the latest from Avenet
and probably the best thing they've done yet.[/p]
[p]Now, most of you were here last week when I did "Cold Blood"
and said THAT was the best thing Avenet ever did and now you get to see
me retract it feeling like a right bloody imbecile because I didn't wait
a damn week to blow my hyperbole wad.[/p]
[p]When you start off a movie with a pair of suicides in the first two minutes,
you know you're in for a wild ride.[br]
[/p]

I decided to try upgrading my nuke to the latest version.... Boy was that a bad idea, lol. The whole sites jacked up now, I think I'm just going to start over. Maybe use a different system.

Thanks for all your help
