How do you change the text size on the homepage with the theme subblack3dblue?

I tried using html but it did not work, i want the size to be changed when i post NEWS and MESSAGES.

i'm using the same theme and would also like to know how to modify the text size and font on the home page and also in the forums.. I know it has to do with the style.css file but I don't know how to edit it.
