SubBlack theme, the subBlack forum is not subBlack - 08-28-2006, 08:39 PM

Hello,

First thank you for the great SubBlack theme. I loaded it into my themes folder. Switched it in admin. All looks great but the forum is like blue and white you cant read anything. How do I get the subblack forum to show as subblack?

Have greatness!

Thank you for your time and and any help you may offer.

Yes it does. The Theme is perfect. All the files from what I can see are there.

But The download layout is a bit diffrent. There are files instead of one.

Thank you for your reply!!!

I'm not sure why you'd be having a problem because I have it installed here:

http://www.e-ztheme.com

...and as you can see, the theme works perfectly fine.

Just out of curiousity, in your forums config: http://www.yoursitename/modules/Forums/admin/index.php

... under "General Board Settings", are your settings as follows:

- Default Style: subSilver
- Override user style (Replaces users style with the default): NO

Thank for you reply and on this. I am a noob with PHPnuke. I'm two weeks old into it.

I have download about 4 different themes from NUKEMODS every one of them works great!

I did notice that all the other themes have a theme folder and a block folder. The block folder has one item in it. (block forum) The other folder says html or theme. That's the one I have been FTP'ing over to my remote side under theme. I pay close attention to make sure that I am on the last layer if any before I ftp it over.

When you open SubBlack, both folders (themes and modules) have a bunch of files instead of just one file in the modules folder and then the main download folder, themes. I tried to ftp Just the theme side but it does not display correctly. It does require both main folders to be ftp'ed to display corectly. All looks perfect but the forms are that light blue and white.

I checked my setting as u suggested all looks good. I would hate to be at a loss with out the subblack theme. I find it to be nicely converted and well done in style! It fits with any type of news you put on ur website.

The right block are not showing. I have not got to that part yet.

Please if so, Advise:

I'm at a bit of a disadvantage because I'm not at home right now but essentially, you don't need to install the file inside the modules folder unless you have a forum glance module installed.

As for the theme itself, I uploaded it directly to my themes folder and everything, including the forums, worked perfectly so I'm unsure what problem your experiencing.

As for the right blocks not showing, you may want to give this thread a look because that should fix your right block issues:
