Theme not installed correctly, now cant see site.
Lets begin with me saying that I am a moron. Now that, that's out of the way, here is my problem. I am new to this, and am learning as I go. With that said, I tried to upload some themes. Well, I did it very wrong and transfered them to the server anyway. Now when I went inside the PHPNuke admin and tried to change the theme, the ones I had moved WERE there, so I thought I had done it right. I came to find out that I in fact did not unpack them correctly. Now since doing that, I cannot access the PHPNuke site I had. Here are the errors I get. I tried reloading the header.php file, to no avail.

Warning: head(themes/Pack-BMan1Blue/theme.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/virtual/site68/fst/var/www/html/testforum/header.php on line 31

Warning: head(): Failed opening 'themes/Pack-BMan1Blue/theme.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php') in /home/virtual/site68/fst/var/www/html/testforum/header.php on line 31

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: themeheader() in /home/virtual/site68/fst/var/www/html/testforum/header.php on line 47

So here I am with no way of getting in. Is there a way to go in and modify something so that it will default to another theme? Thanks for your help.

yo!

i had the same problem, to sort it out though!

here's what i did: i opened up my 'nuke DB' in phpMyAdmin and found the nuke config table (1/2 way down the list).

browse it, and find the default theme entry and change whatever is in there to: 'T-Platinum' and OK/ save it, when you refresh your site it should all be ok!!!

FYI Im having problems finding any Themes that work correctly!!!

hope that helps!

if none of the themes work. you are not installing them correctly.

to install theme

extract all contents from package FIRST beofre uploading!

In the package is a folder called themes. In that folder there is the THEME folder.
we will call it DarkBlue.

Upload the Darkblue folder to your /themes folder on your FTP where your nuke site is. Leave the contents AS-IS..do not change anything in that DarkBlue folder. Just upload it to your themes folder.
THAT IS ALL.
Do not separate the forum template from the nuke theme All nukemods themes have matching phpBB styles that you do not separate.
Once uploaded, change your theme under your USER ACCOUNT preferences FIRST.
DO NOT CHANGE THEME UNDER YOUR ADMIN PREFERENCES UNTIL AFTER YOU HAVE TESTED TO SEE THAT THEME WORKS FIRST UNDER YOUR ACCOUNT!

rename the theme folder name to xxx.old. After that you should be able to get on to your site again with another theme
