Can login to PHP-Nuke, but won't transfer login to phpbb2
I downloaded the latest phpbb2nuke , installed it on the phpnuke v6 and everything seems to be working fine except for the fact that once logged in to the php-nuke site, you're not logged in to phpbb2nuke. The login button on the phpbb2nuke page points to the login for php-nuke, in which you're already logged in and it shows me the your_account page. I have no clue why this is occuring, but it is quite inconvenient to say the least...
any forgotten settings?!

Usually when you arent' recognized as logged in on the port side, means you are missing some of the ports fiels.
Make sure you uploaded the
modules.php file that came with the port and also the Your Account module and overwrite your existing ones.

port help
I am getting this same error. I can get to the forums admin from the site admin area, and then when i click forum index from the bb admin area it shows admin online, but when I try to enter a forum it sends me back to Your Account. And when I click forums from the main site it don't show me online. Mabe you can get a better idea by taking a look.

I say again. Check and MAKE sure you uploaded ALL the files included with the port, overwriting any existing ones you had before on your FTP.
The only times I have ever seen the situation of logging in and registering etc. being affected was because all the files included with the port were nto uploaded.

If you have log files with your ftp, check each folder to make sure the files were loaded. I had a bunch that weren't loaded, and I wasn't prompted at all.

Odd stuff
The same exact thing happened to me tonight out of the blue. Not sure what happened but what you sugested fixed me right up.
Question on the profile. The Avatar image on the profile for the Site side does not work when the image is off site. I just get a broken image. The link is correct and the image works on the forum side profile.
Is this fixable? Also, can I just change the top link for Your Account on the site side to link to the Foum information or would that screw anything up? Side note, it does the same thing here.
NM...fixed it, I always do that...post a question and then figure it out 10 minutes later.
Here is what I did...
I have avatar uploading turned off so I went into the modules/Your_Account folder and removed every instance this line from the index.php file:
modules/Forums/images/avatars/
And only that part from the entire document. Anything before or after that exact selection remained. The only one I left intact was this line:
2057: $direktori = "modules/Forums/images/avatars";
After I did that my off site avatar showed correctly on the site profile page. Remember, I disabled the option to upload an avatar to the site, so, I don't think that will work if you do allow them.
Cheers.

If you install the forum reg hack, it will change the location of where that link looks for the info from my account to the forum profile.
I don't think that specific link is mentioned, but Martin pointed out the code to change on another thread.
The forum reg hack gives you a good indication of where and what you should be looking for.
