Changing News Mod Text from Italic to Regular

I have my news on the home page as most of you do. In the fiapple theme it is formatting the text to italics and I want to make it regular. Can someone telkl me which file to go to to make this change

In theme.php search for:

replace with:

$content .= ""._WRITES." \"$thetext\"$notes\n";
