changing the nuke_bbauth_access tables
What happnes if you change the defaults in any of the tables from "0" to "1"?

Is it a security risk I should be worried about?

those variables in that table are for the permissions of your various forums.
You set those permissions under your Forum admin.
0 means ALL can view, read post whatever, 1, only registered or 2 only registered and so on. Don't mess with that table manually. Set the Forum permissions in your Forum admin.

I ask because....
Remember the issue I asked about the moderator vs admin issue where if I attempt to change a user to Administrator it would not keep that setting? I fixed that issue.

On one of my sites, I attempted to install the MYCalendar mod for phpbb. I got a couple errors because it wasn't finding the mycalendar.php file, thats another story I'm still working on.

Anyway, I was snooping around my forum admin / user permissions, and when I pressed the SUBMIT button, with or without a change, I got an error and the DEBUG told me to change the value of the GROUP_ID and AUTH_MOD defaults so they don't match.

I made the change and saved it, I resubmitted the user permission changes, and now I show up as Administrator instead of Moderator in my forums.

I made the change in both of my sites (because they both had that problem) and they both work now.

If you would like to know the value I changed what to, let me know.

it would be great if you would post your solution for others if this is truly a bug.

It said to make sure the values for the 2 tables not be the same. They were both default to 0 as were every other table. With trial and error, the defaults that work for me are:

group_id 0
auth_mod 1

Now, because of this calendar issue I'm having, I may reinstall the entire site. If this happens and I get the same error after trying to reinstall the calendar, I will get the exact error message. I remember it referred to line 2 and line 1394 (I think that was the #) in a file, but I don't remember the file it was referring to.

Sorry this isn't much, but I was dumb for not writing down the DEBUG error.
