Hi,

Can anybody tell me which file/s I would need to alter/delete to completely remove post counts from the forums. Basically I want to remove them to eliminate ppl posting rubbish just to get a higher post count.

I could just try deleting the posts as they happen, but as the forums are used 24/7 and receive an 1000+ hits a day this almost becomes impossible.

I'm not sure off the top of my head where to delete it from the scripts to remove it tottally, but as a short term fix you could just go into your theme and look at viewprofile.tpl, viewtopic.tpl, and memberslist.tpl and remove the references to posts in those three files and then it wouldn't display anywhere on the site.

It would still be adding up the posts and putting it into the database in case you ever changed your mind later, or just in case as an admin you wanted to see who your highposters are, but to the users and on the site it wouldn't be displaying the post count.
