When I try to register using the forum's register it says "Could not insert data into users table". It works just fine using Nuke's register. Is there a way to fix this or point the forum's register link to modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=new_user

Uh yeah..hehe Uh we have a Forum registration hack you can use in our Downloads section. It will enable your users to use the Forum's registration as a means of signup on your site.

IF you want to Simply link the Forums Reg to the Your Accoutn registration..just remove that Registration link in the Forum in the
modules/Forums/templates/CurrentTemplate/overall_header.tpl
you'll have to look around for it in that file.
