how do i share a database on a different server
Hi,
I have a file site and maxed out my webspace so I got more webspace but not on the same server . So I have two sites that look exactly the same but there is one problem they have two different databases .. I need to know how to set up the config file so I can have one of the sites point to the other ones databse, so i only have to update one site instead of two sites...

You should just be able to put in your Config info into your config.php file for connecting to the other database just like in your other config. Only problem is if your DBHOST is localhost, it won't work... :?

You would need the server address of your MySQL database or the IP address of your MySQL server.
