I can't get my PM's and stuf to work on my site. I have a mail server. Alt-N MDaemon Pro for Windows. I don't have outlook. In forum admin I'm not sure what to put for smtp. When I try to PM someone I get. GENERAL ERROR: smpt server not found, message. That's with the forum. I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure this out.

?? When you PM someon aren't you using any smtp it's just a database thing over the board ? Mail on the other hand is using smtp.

I have made PM's work (I think). I took out the Private Messages Module for PHPbb and put back the default php-nuke module. Now everything seem to work. No more errors so far.
And now I can send e-mail once again.
Weird. :roll:
