Have you uploaded both the phpBB 2.0.6 Port-Beta Mod and the ported fiapple theme?

If you have then you will have to install the 2.0.6Port-Beta Mod as a new database.

To do this click "forums" in your administration panel and set your Site URL into the line asked then install the forum as a new database, you will be given 2 options, choose "install database only". Set your admin password and then click install.

Once you have done this then it will tell you that it is all installed and bring up the new forum. Go into your cPanel for the forums and set fiapple as your default theme.

Hope this helps you understand a little more?

Another new site? Well I had a problem a few days ago trying to switch themes and by accident I solved the problem by doing something that was not even closely related to it. I was at the preferences page in admin and down where the text box is for the stuff you can put in the footer, I removed an image, one of the "power by" pics, then I saved the changes, and then I tried switching themes again and it worked. I must have woke up my database or something.

It looks kinda like a permissions problem with the config file. Did you chmod the folders that you were supposed to before installing? (especially the modules/forums folder.)

Check your modules/Forums direcotry on your FTP and see if the config.php file is there. If not, then it did not get created when you setup the phpBB ported Forums.

CHMOD your modules/Forums directory 777 before you setup the Forums for the first time.

Also, this may help some.
