I installed it, but it's not there - 02-05-2003, 01:25 PM

:? hmm. Okay, I followed the readme file, I read the post below to see if I left anything out. I installed the theme in modules/forums/templates. I went to my admin control panel clicked "forums" and went to the style menu and clicked add. The templates name was there. I added it. It shows up in the forums admin panel scroll menu. I went back to the site and tried to change my theme. It is not on the user panel. I went back to the admin and went as far as to make it my default in a desperate attempt to get it to work. It didn't work.

Then I read I should also install in public_html/themes, so I installed the theme there as well. What did I do wrong?

OK..if you downloaded a theme pack from our site.
It should have a themes folder and modules folder.

Take the theme in the themes folder and upload it to your themes folder on your FTP.
Then go into the modules folder, there is a folder in there called Forums, in it a folder called templates, in there is the tempalte that you need to upload to your modules/Forums/tempaltes folder on your FTP.

when you made it your default, what do you mean as far as 'not working' ? 'not working' as in giving you an error? or 'not working' as in staying with the last theme you had?

if its hard to describe, just take a few screenshots of : admin panel, user panel, what appears when you select it, etc. sometimes its hard to explain and judge by words
