If i wanted to remove nuke....
I am using nuke with the phpBB Forum MOD.
Is there anyway to remove Nuke and re-install plain old phpBB
without losing any of my Registered users?
There must be a user list somewhere.....

You'd basically need to use the importer script from Tom's and reverse the actions it performs to import your phpBB to phpBB port. You need it to import your phpbbport Data in Nuke to regular phpBB.

That would require code changes to that import script.

The users for your Nuke are located in nuke_users table.

Thanks Martin for the recent post block.
I am not removing PHP nuke.
The reason I ask is because went from a regular phpBB to a nuke with a phpBB mod... I lost all my user database.... Just want to make sure it doesn't happen again if ever I decided to go back....but I dont think I will

You lost all your user info? Did you use the import script that is on bbtonuke?

heh i personally decided to screw the importer script: just downloaded the data and re-uploaded it into the nuke database with the same instructions, as the script was not working for me. as long as youre starting from scratch (and dont have users already built in) its not too hard without it. even if you just wanted to do the users, shouldnt be tough at all.

I had a few problems with the script, and had to edit some of my users signatures and the like, because they had single and double quotes in them. Basically those characters confuse the database. If you try to run it and it halts without giving you an error, check the user info in the database and remove those characters, then re-run it. Depending on what your users have in there, you might have to edit a few of them, given the alternative of having to completely re-register, and redo the entire forum, it's worth the time.
