none of the site even loads for me...continues to that loading thing you were talking about. i suggest you talk to your host about the problem. if theyre a good host, they know enough about programming where they can give you a hand.

You really haven't given us enough info to help you. So far we know you have a host and that Nuke doesn't work.

Did create a database?
Do you have the correct database info in the config.php?

I do | I set up everythings right | I could install phpnuke 5.6 and phpbb2 forum with the same config

I do also create the database

do you have AIM ?| that should help me | I will give you the host then you can try | or you can register at lycos.co.uk | if you can install ?

From checking around I see there are alot of people having issues getting Nuke to run on lycos, and the main reason appears to be their config settings. Here is an example I found of a working sites settings:

Code:
$dbhost = "localhost";
$dbuname = "";
$dbpass = "";
$dbname = "login_uk_db";
$prefix = "nuke";
$user_prefix = "nuke";
$dbtype = "MySQL";
Apparently you leave the $dbuname and $dbpass empty and for the $dbname you replace the login with your lycos uname (blah_uk_db).

This isn't guaranteed to work, I just searched around on your problem. I found lots of people asking but only this one possible solution.
