Usually with multiple errors like that, your Database has not been created. Make sure you upload the nuke.sql that came with PHP-Nuke to your MySQL database.

ewww i hate sql_layer errors. they dig into your skin after awhile and it makes you psycho so watch out

yes mike is right though, it means the databse was not created or there was an error while making it/didnt create correctly. either way, re-create the database for the mod and you SHOULD be fine.
