'Last Post' Error? - 04-09-2003, 06:26 AM

Hi,

I was looking over the phpbb posts on the site I have set up and I noticed that posts by certain members weren't being showin the the "last post" index and that the "Top Posters" block wasn't picking up on the posts either.

After looking on it and testing with a new account (irionhand), I have come to the conclusion that the only posts being shown on "Last Post" are those by the creator of the topic. :x

I have absolutley no idea whats going on.

http://screw.ionichost.com/

If it helps, here is a list of things added/removed/done to/from the site:
- vwar 1.3 installed
- nuke 6.0 uploaded
- 60sql.zip (nukesql)+ (nuke installed)
- phpbb-2.0.6-port-Beta1.zip (uploaded and installed)
- SecFixes6.zip
- Forumregistration.zip
- Your_Account_600_BB_230.zip*
- block-User_Info.zip
- nav bar added, modules made viewable to only admin
- Top_Posters block
- Hangman (added/removed)
- scrolling blocks
- block_user_info (the new one that shows off site avatars)
- Forum Block pu in top center

Thanks.

If they are posting in a "private" section like my forums 18+ section http://www.bayridgenights.com then the or an admin / Mods only section the forum center block wont pick up those posts. The same is probably true with the Top posters block.

It isn't a problem with the "Top Posters" block, I had the problem before I added it. The problem just affects it's output too.
The only person whose reply's are shown in the "Last Post" index in the phpbb are the reply's made by the topic starter.

Im not saying its a problem with your blocks. I was just saying if the Forum is a private forum, meaning only viewable by certain groups or people, then the posts made there wont reflect in the Center Topic Block but then again, I guess that wouldnt affect the top posters post count...

Where did you get the 2 blocks from ? Did you get them from here at NukeMods ?

The problem isnt with the blocks. The error was there before they were applied.

The forum Centre Block came with the theme downloaded here, the block works fine btw.

All the blocks I downloaded come from either here (nukemods) or nukecops. :P

I dont think I am articulating what the problem is, go here:
http://screw.ionichost.com/modules.p...4913051a9a5f01
look at this topic, you'll notice that there 1 reply..but on forum index it doesnt show it.

http://screw.ionichost.com/modules.p...4913051a9a5f01
here there are 2 replies, only one is shown in the index.

those are the first two i can think of, there are more. The problem persists in our private and public areas.

Thanks.

I was wrong, not all the forums are either public or private. The other admin I set changed some of the forums I thought were public to "Registered" ops:
