"Latest Post From Forums" central Block Stuck... - 02-20-2003, 08:58 AM

i have this problem.

i hae installed the latest post from the forum cetral block and it worked real well.

however, due to an database accident, the forums have to be reverted back to the last saved version i have i back-up(posts, topics, posts_text, only...)...

now, the latest posts from the old (before the reversion) are stuck... i thought because the present number of posts has not yet exceeded the number of posts before the reversion.. so i waited.

however, i am positive now that the present number of posts has exceeded the old ones.... but the "latest posts" still show the latest posts from the old boards.

is there something i need to reset or do? please help. the 'latest posts' in the frontpage is really a very cool feature.

my community is this: www.tsikot.com

If you have'nt already Id try disabling the block to remove the data its holding and then activate it again.

That *Should* clear up your prob.

Hmm,
Mine got stuck after moving a thread!
I tried all of the above to no avail. I was using a modified version of the fiblack forum block from this site, which did work well for awhile.
I'm now using a modified scrolling block set to the center, but I don't like it as much

Go into your MySQL Database. GO to $prefix_blocks table.
Browse for the "bad" block and then delete it.

$prefix usually =nuke

You can use phpMyadmin
