A Block...is like a container...it c an hold menus or dynamic content..
a module is something that sits in the container, like a group of modules that make up a menu, or the first few forum posts..like you have on the main page here...this may sound odd but i need confirmation on this*L*

While I'm here does anyone know where i can get some good RSS feeds?the ones added with phpNuke arent really aimed at the general public..

A block is a table which can contain anything that a table, on say a pure html web page can. The last 5 forum posts on the index page is a block, placed in a column in the center, between the left and right columns. It's contents are a result of the last 5 posts from the module "forums".
