MikeM when I am finished with a new user registration form. I then click on the finished button and the message _ERROR appears at the top left center of the screen. It appears to be a database error but I ma unclear?

Can you shed light on this one.

That is because you more than likely did not upload ALL the files included with the phpBB port.

MikeM you should be aplauded for your efforts here on this forum. I appreciate you sticking it out with on this one. I know it becomes a pain working with less than experianced players but I do want you to know I have learned a great deal and appreciate all your support.

Mike I am still not able to create a new user account. I am getting the _ERROR in the top left corner of the screen in the center table. I have re-installed everything clean, nuke ver 6.0 got it up and running then I installed version2.0.6 of the ported phpBB2 script. I deleted everything from my forums folder under moduals/Forums and uploaded all from the new version 2.0.6 as it said to do in the readme file. I ran the configure script and it created the forum database etc. no problem. I then created the admin user and regular user. I can login great to my account no problem, I just am unable to create a regular user for some reason.

Perplexed.

There are more than just the Forums files that come with the port. There are replacement files for:
modules/Your_Account
modules/News
modules/Surveys
and more

and even a replacement file, modules.php to replace your original modules.php in your main directory.

Did you upload ALL of those files too? I have mentioned this to you before. :?

Mike you got a chance to slap my hand once, I won't let it happen again. Yes I have uploaded everything from the phpBB2 ver 2.0.6 from the folders to the files. I will try it again and do it this time one file at a time per folder to make sure I am not missing anything. Could it be any configurations that I have screwed up?
