I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I did try a search, I find it hard to believe that I am the only one who has had this problem.

When I open my site, I am automatically logged in. I have dumped my cookies, I logout when I leave, but whenever I come back I'm already logged in.

If I go to the forum, it gives me the link to the admin panel and I can get in there without having to login at all.

It has been this way since I reinstalled. Is there maybe a file or something that didn't overwrite when I installed the port?

And you say even after you dump your Cookies, you are still logged in? That is wierd.

Try naming the cookies that your Forums store in Forums Administration/Configuration to somethign unique. POssibly the cookies from another site with the same named cookie is having an effect, but dumping all your cookies should solve this.
Also try dumping ALL your Internet Temporary files as well.

Just for a goof, if you have another browser, IE, Netscape, whatever, try a different browser as well to see if it is browser related. I don't think it is File related ...at least I have never seen that. :?

I found the problem actually. There was a heap of files that my ftp client didn't overwrite and didn't prompt me about when I installed the port. I had to go through the log files in folder to check which files were uploaded and which weren't, and then manually upload through IE instead of my ftp client (don't know why it isn't working properly) Most of the files that were supposed to be overwritten when installing the port weren't, but all of the new files were loaded. I think the only one that was actually overwritten was module.php

So I've just finished uploading, and am going to test again.....
