Hey Martin, i got my web server up, now, I downloaded Gallery 1.3.3 from your website, the zip file with netpbm and gallery and galleryremote in them, i extracted gallery to my modules folder in phpnuke, i extracted netpbm into the gallery folder, then i configured it how it said, but when i goto change the properties of the album, it just shows a blank page, any clue, if you can help me, it would be great :P

First I don't remember reading anywhere to put netpbm in the gallery folder, although I'm not sure that would cause a blank page to show. You don't have Gallery in a subfolder of Gallery, do you? (I mean not like Gallery/gallery).
Second you need to run the configure.bat BEFORE you try to setup config and then after you need to run secure.bat. Do that? Also might need to chmod 777 first too. (unless it's a local machine)
Third the path to setup need to include /www/gallery/setup/index.php

I configured everything, but would you be able to help me step by step possibly or post a url where i can get installation readme files?

What part of installation are you having problems with? Once you get all the files in place and type in youw url in your browser like
http://www.area101.com-1.net/modules...etup/index.php and hit enter, what happens?

Well obviousley I left out a folder in your url if everything is in place now.

I hope this isn't a Linux machine you are setting up on. :cry: If it is and you downloaded the netpbm from me you will have to download the linux version and get someone who knows how to make the files exicutable from a command prompt on the linux machine before it will work.

Hey again martin, yeh, i dont use that URL anymore, it is on a WinXP machine, i used AppServ as you gave the link to me, my other name is V0id, i goto the gallery url, and it loads, but when i change the settings, they dont change, do i need to download the netpbm binaries? or anything extra?

well how did you set up yours?

No you just need to click the file in your gallery folder called configure.bat and then run the setup. Configure.bat is a dos-like program that just flashes a black screen for a second. Then after setup finishes you click the other bat file in there called secute.bat. Have you done it that way?

yes, i done that, and then I run the gallery, but nothing changes, and i cant login as admin or nothing, I dont know what is wrong, I dont know if I installed NetPBM wrong, oh, Do I need mod_rewrite, if I do, how do I put it on?

You are on your home computer, right? Put your netpbm folder in your appserv folder. Leave Gallery in the modules folder. Make a folder in your www folder called albums. Do all the steps to get to setup. You should not have to do anything else. Run setup and enter all the info for the paths to netpbm and your new albums folder. Be SURE to get the slashes correct!!!

Okay, I done everything you said, now, It all works and the gallery appears, but, the name of the gallery and the login still doesn't work, when I try to do something to edit it, all as it does is show a blank screen, I have no idea of what is wrong...

Go ahead and activate the module to test that. You are real close to having it. I'm racking my brain trying to figure it out. Don't know yet.

Did you click the secure.bat file yet?
