moving phpbb to nukebb - 07-24-2003, 12:17 PM

Hello, I have already established a forum with a good amount of users. I am currently in the process of setting up a nuke site, but I don't want to have to start the forum over. Is there a way to move the current forum to the nuke one, so that all of the forum members don't have to resign up, and hence lose ALL the posts that are already there. Thanks in advance.

Hmm, well I went over to nukecops and I couldn't find any 'importer' script but i did find:
Quote:
BBtoNuke 2.0.5
Description: phpBB 2.0.5 ported to PHP-Nuke.
As with any release candidate do not use on a production website, make a backup of your Forums and includes folders before uploading.
To use simply upload the Forums and includes folders so that they replace your current files.

Update 6/26/03 - Now includes all forum related files and not just the changed files. Make a backup of your files and database, to update the database point your browser to http://www.yoursite.com/modules.php?...=update_to_205 once done delete this file.
Update 6/27/03 - Fixed admin ranks, user permissions and profile among other things.
Requirements:
PHP-Nuke 6.5 & up
BBtoNuke 2.0.4
Is that the file that I need. I am currently running nuke 6.5 and my existing forum (not associated with nuke) is 2.0.5

Also, the instructions in that file (if it is infact the one I need) are a little sketchy. Do I need to replace everything in my /modules/Forums with all the files in my current forum folder? Anyhelp you can give me is greatly appreciated...sorry is this is a 'stupid question'
