Mozilla & Phoenix cant read &nbsp in User Block - 03-16-2003, 11:43 PM

In the user block this is what it says my user name is: Welcome, &nbspMartin
It needs a & before the nbsp, what it has is [& amp ; nbsp] (without the spaces, I had to leave spaces between so it would show up here, even when I used the code thing)
Do you know what I'm saying? It's hard to explain because I cant type the code without it dissapearing in this post, even when I put it in code brackets.

A Non-Breaking Space right?

it actually goes
ampersand first, you know the "and" sign
then nbsp;

or just try it with ampersand nbsp, no semicolon.

me forgot the semi-colon..hehe...man those browsers are finicky..but they actually do it right. The code was technically wrong, but IE get's by little glitches in code liek that. No wonder there are so many security issues with IE...hmm :roll:
