Hey, I need help, I installed AppServ on my PC, I am running it on Windows XP. I have installed Gallery successfully, but, when I goto login, or change the settings of something, it doesn't happen, it just refreshes, and back to how it was, I talked to Martin, because he has AppServ installed also, but he couldn't help me, Can anyone help me, do I need to be on a different Operating System, like Windows 2000? and If Martin reads this, what O/S are you on?

I am runnung XP. Make sure you have run secure.bat after you setup. Try running configuration again following the procedure of running configure.bat first. When you config, what errors do you get if any? Make sure you disable any popup apps you might have, enable java in your browser. Enable cookies.

what problem?
I know how to get Gallery working, but not on a local server. Too many variables. I for one prefer the simplicity of purchasing webspace and letted my webspace provider worriy abnout these little headaches :?

Hay HounD, I have the same system as you and have gone through the procedure with you. My gallery works. You must learn your system inside-out. Start over and keep dooing it till you get it right.
I have spent hours helping people who use so called "webspace providers" :!:
