Hi everyone,

I'm running PhpNuke and PhpBB on my site. But I haven't been able to get the PhpBB forums ported into PhpNuke, for many reasons the main one being that the forum feature simply won't work in PhpNuke on my site, this doesn't really bother me though I'm happy using PhpBB seperatly.

But this is what I would like to be able to do, and I don't even know if it's possiable but thought I would come here and ask, as I've tried on other sites and not got any response. Ok, I want to get the PhpBB menu block working for my forum even though the forum isn't the PhpNuke module...

Is this possiable? has it already been done?

I really doubt it's possible since you are running Nuke and the Forums sepearate. Thus, the block wouldn't even see your Forums.

Whats' the reason you can't seem to get the phpBB port installed?

I don't know! The forums simply don't work... thats why I'm not using them. None of the e-mail features for PhpNuke work either.

awhile back i attempted to hook up the orig phpBB forums to the phpBB user menu on nuke, but i never finished it. i had gotten some errors that i couldnt figure out, so i just stopped. im going to start it up again and post the errors i get here or someplace, see if anyone can give me a hand. i wish the modding community was as organized as phpBB.com :?

I totaly agree that PhpBB has a much more organised Modding community, and it definatly helps when people need help with stuff like this!

And if you need help getting the errors sorted out or anything else just give me a shout and though I'll admit I don't know very much about coding stuff like this I'd like to be involved anyway I can.
