phpBB Mods and PHPnuke
Hi Folks.

Sorry if I am posting in the wrong forum but I'm new.
I've been using phpBB for quite a while now on my site and today I discoved phpNuke. Obviously I would like to use its features when I take my site to the next level.

Part of this upgrade was using the following mod for phpbb.
http://mods.db9.dk
This guy has modded phpBB extensively and its features are a beauty. I currently have this setup in my test environment and working properly.

I have been able to get the fiapple theme which I found here (thanks to the author) working on phpnuke 6.5 and that also fixed the forum look properly.

The final hurdle I want to try and get accross is to get the modded features working in phpnuke. I assume this must be possible?
The modded forum simply edits the existing .php files from phpBB 204.

I simply tried to copy those ones accross the nuke ones but that did not work.
What would be the recommended way of approaching getting a modded phpbb working in nuke?

I trust there is some way of doing this, thanks for your help!

The forumfiles are heavely modified to work with nuke so you can't include a standalone (like the fully modded one from there) in nuke. You can mod your included forum with the portedmods anor and me make here http://www.portedmods.com

Hi all. Father, you may have been in a situation back then that I am in now

I have phpBB running right now and I'd like to use phpNuke. I'm currently also using the Mx-System portal which is pretty nice, but it seems like phpNuke has more to offer.

My question is this, do I just need to install phpNuke then work with the mods to add this existing install of phpBB to phpNuke?

I really do not want to lose what I have with my forum right now. Its not too heavily modded either

Any suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
p

First you need to install phpNuke, then you have to transfer over your phpBB database to nuke.
Then you visit Portedmods.com and you add the mods you want to your board. You can't use any of the mods you almready have on your board, only if they are ported.
