PHPNuke & PHPBBPort working together
The both work alright and all, but the thing is this. Users have to log into my PHPNuke site, and when they want to use my forum, they have to log into that as well. Also, when they get private messages, the Who's On box doesnt notify them. it always says 0. Is there a hack or fix that will make it so when users log into my PHPNuke site, they're automaticly logged into the forums? Also, is there a way I can set it up so my users can send private messaged via the forum instead of the nuke's private message system? Thanks

This is a common problem with Logging in when you use Nuke6.0
The answer is you need to re-uplaod the modules.php file and modules/Your_Account/"all-files" that came with the phpBB port.
Better yet, use these Security fix files too.

The files will not make any changes to your database tables so you will lose nothing.

Backup your original files first(the ones you are replacing), but NO you won't lose any info. All user and Forum info is stored in your Database.
Make sure you are uploading the files that came with the phpBBport(and the ones in my link) form Tom's site if that is what you are using. If you are using standalone phpBB, then you would need to port it over to the phpBBport if you want a universal loggin.

ok, I replad the files and then I installed the security fix, my private messages are still going to the nuke and not my PHPBB, so it stills doesnt notify that you have any private messages or not. Also, since I installed the security fix I`m getting this in a number of places
Warning: setlocale() [function.setlocale]: Passing locale category name as string is deprecated. Use the LC_* -constants instead. in /home/jros1981/public_html/public_html/mainfile.php on line 569

It's becoming more obvious that you have not used all the files included with the phpBBport and overwrote your exisintg ones. If you used all the files with the phpBBport in the beginning, then the Private Messages should now be controlled by the Forums not Nuke.
The phpBBport came with modules that replace your exisiting ones. You can't just upload the Forum mopdule and expect everything to work. ALL needs uploaded.
edit: The setlocale error has been covered. You can search the Forums here and at http://www.nukecops.com and find the solution for that.

I downloaded the PHPBB port from Ituned.net and I uploaded everything. I went from file to file and made sure I uploaded it all.
