Poll will not allow anyone to vote. - 02-01-2003, 01:36 AM

Here is the forum link for the pole. I have the permissions set to registered users vote, I have the forum set to registered users. Is it possible that it remembers my ip address and only allows me to vote once? Or is something really wrong?

Help is greatly appreciated.
using phpNuke 6.0 and phpBB2Ported 2.0.6 beta

Not sure about that, but are you aware that the text in your forum shows up light yellow with Mozilla browser, and Phoenix browser for sure. And possably Netscape Navagator but I don't have it installed. You cant read the text.
Those browsers are reading the css from the Nuke side which is yellow and using it everywhere.
Just thought you might want to know. Look at the stats to see how many people use these type browsers. I am one.
Using a matching theme in nuke would solve the problem.
Don't know why it only happens on your site. I have visited others with 2 themes and no problem.
I use Phoenix browser all the time now. It is made by the folks that make Mozilla (and Netscape)

Retribution

Guests aren't allowed to vote so it will automatically not give them the voting option.

I registered and voted and it worked fine.

As long as you are either not logged in, or logged in as someone who has voted you wont be given the option to vote again.

EDIT: You might want to check your permissions again in your forum admin cp too. You have been posting as a guest. It also says guest under the other users posts, if that isn't a group you created then you need to set the permissions for the forums.
