Reloading DB
Hi,

I recently installed a new site, and opted for a different theme. My original theme was smartDark, but I have since changed to fiblack. Before I reinstalled my site I did back up my DB.

All I want to keep is the forums, with forum posts and users that registered accounts on my old site. The site was ported, as is the new 1, but I'm guessing I cant just upload the old DB to a new theme :?

How do I go about re-uploading the DB to the new site and just keep the User accounts, Forums and Forum posts within along with all permissions?

If some1 can help me out on this I would be very greatful. Ive looked over the DB SQL but tbh it doesnt meen anything to me ops:

Sorry for the long wait for a reply.

Yes thats all I need I think, unless you can think of any other important data that I'll need to make them work.

P.S. ops: Where do I upload the file to in PHPmyAdmin?

My forum tables are located in the database "phpnuke" with my nuke tables. I would assume yours will to if your db is named the same.

You would need all these tables from your saved DB file. Basically you can cut and paste thee tables and their info into a new text file and then save it as whatever.sql

nuke_bbauth_access
to
nuke_bbwords
total of 27 bb tables

also,
nuke_users
nuke_users_suspend
nuke_users_pending

The main ones though are all the _bb tables and the users table. If you are only planning to restore your Forums and posts and users info.

Once you get your Nuke/phpBB back up and running, then upload the whatever.sql fiel you made in phpmyadmin.
BACKUP your DB BEFORE uploading your whatever.sql file. Just in case it doesn't work.
