Requesting Help(Moved Site, problems)
I recently moved my ported site to a new server.
Transferred all files and database, seemingly without a hitch.
Now, when I try to log in to admin, I see this:
Quote:
There are no Administrators Accounts yet, proceeed to create the Super User:
I try to login, and it goes on an endless cycle ie login and back to above.
My user level is set to 2 in the sql table. Tried clearing cookies...

Additionally, The forum recent post block seems to work, but when I try to access tyhe forum I get:
Quote:
phpBB : Critical Error
Quote:
Could not get theme data for themes_id [20]
Ant help would be very much appreciated!

Oddly enough the two functions that are not working for you are cookie related, since the old cookie may be different than what is expected from the new site it may be causing these problems, close the web browser, clear all your cookies, clear all temporary internet files and maybe also the history, then open the browser and try to login again.

Could the Cookie domain in forums>Admin>configuration have anything to do with that?

Well I got the forums working properly by dropping the forum config table and re-installing it. Don't know why, but it worked

I had my cookie domain blank on the last server, and it worked fine Martin.
Changing it didn't help...

btw I am running NSN Your Account Tweak. Worked well on the old server.
I am thinking it might be a related issue as to why I cannot login as admin.

NSN had these access levels setup :
nuke_access VALUES ( '-1', 'Deleted');
nuke_access VALUES ( '1', 'User');
nuke_access VALUES ( '2', 'Moderator');
nuke_access VALUES ( '3', 'Super Moderator');
nuke_access VALUES ( '4', 'Administrator');[/quote]

ahhh, that is very likely, thanks.
Still mystified by it though. Plenty of stiff out there with regard to admin login looping, but most applies to a windows server

Thought I'd close this with the answer I found, embarrassing as it may be ops:
I had to transfer the database in chunks through phpmyadmin due to size restriction (script timeout ) , a monotonous process!

I missed one little line...insert nuke_authors 8O

Yeah those larger databases can be a beotch to upload.
Missing the nuke_authors table..yeah that would definately pose a problem..hehe.
