I get those whenever I try to view my freshly installed board (that comes with nuke), even though I've set up the configuration correctly.. on every page of the board. Maybe that has something to do with the theme I installed right before (phpib2)...?

Apparently, it's not a major error, since the board loads correctly after those lines.

Funny thing is, the directory that cant be accessed is root of my server.

Any solutions?

Delete or comment out this part from common.php:
Quote:
if (file_exists('install') || file_exists('contrib'))
{
message_die(GENERAL_MESSAGE, 'Please ensure both the install/ and contrib/ directories are deleted');
}

Thank you! - 04-21-2003, 01:49 AM

Hey, thank you!! It worked! 8)

Funny stuff is, I already tried that yesterday, cause I had a slight feeling that those lines would be the problem... but yesterday, this just screwed the board completely :?: :!:

Maybe this whole phpnuke stuff is a moody bastard :P

EDIT: I know now why it didnt work at first: Don't delete the lines, just comment them out... no clue why this has to be, but deleting screws it, whereas commenting out works fine.... lol..
