on a phpnuke6.0-phpb 2.06 ported system: when a certain user logs in, she is welcomed (and so logged in) as another user. i can't figuure out why. but here's what i know:

the user logging in is user id 24, and the person she is logged on as is user id 25

and, when i set up the nuke site, importing my pre-existing phpbb2 data, the user in question registered and was asigned user id 21739000 (or whatever the largest int value is). i changed her to 24 (that being the userid which was supposed to come next). this registration took place a month ago, but the problem is just no manifesting.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Man that's a tough one.

I do know the the userid #'s in the database don't necessarily stay incremented(in sequence).

For example. If you delete a user, say userid 25, then userid 25 will not exist anymore and won't be replaced either by the next user to register. That number won't be used again.

WHo is userid25 if she is 24? It sounds like she SHOULD be 25 in all respects, but you manually changed her to 24 when maybe you should have changed her to 25??

I have no idea what I'm saying..just brainstorming.

no...i appreciate anything that might spark a solution...

i looked at the database table nuke_users and she is clearly shown to have uid 24. she has posted to the forum several times. both uid 24 and 25 have logged on before without a problem. it's just weird.

maybe i'll delete her account and have her create a new one...
