Theme Error
Hi,
I'm having a bit of a problem with a theme I've been trying to install. I downloaded redIce (last one down) from BBToNuke. I put it in my themes folder and then went to the administration menu to use it. When I did so I got the following error:
|
Code:
|
Warning: Failed opening 'themes/redIce/theme.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php') in /home/virtual/site35/fst/var/www/html/rvs/header.php on line 31
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: themeheader() in /home/virtual/site35/fst/var/www/html/rvs/header.php on line 47 |
Is there a file like config.php or something of that sort to revert to my old theme (subBlack)? Thanks a ton.

This is your lucky day! your problen is easily solved! What you downloaded goes in your modules/forums/templates folder, not themes folder. It is for phpbb to nuke port forum.

 Ok....so I screwed up big time. Even when I put it in the modules/forums/templates, my PHP-Nuke still won't open. My site is here. Is there anyway to fix this without going back and reinstalling PHP-Nuke? And if there isn't, is there a way to delete all the tables in PHPMyAdmin w/o doing it one-by-one? Thanks a ton.

Php-nuke is not sposed to open that forum template. The temp is only for the forum. If you want nuke and your forum to match you need to use a theme pack. Look in downloads on this site and see if there is one you like. It requires php-nuke 6.0 and phpbb2 ported to nule.

Alright, I got that part down. Now I just have to figure out how to get PHP-Nuke off of the idea that the theme should be redIce. 8O I'm seriously hoping there is SOMETHING I can change. If there isn't, I'll need to reinstall PHP-Nuke, I think? Thanks for all your help, Martin. It's all appreciated.

Go to your MySQL database. You should have a phpmyadmin connection to it through your webserver control panel.
look under the nuke_config table
There is a value there for the Default theme. Change it to the theme you have and then save your changes.
IF you can't figure this out. Then PM me and I can make the changes for you as long as you have access to your MySQL DB.

Are unable to view your php-nuke now, at all? If so stick around or maybe pm Mikem or Coldblooded and explain the situation. Maybe they know how to change the theme from the file directory. I think the data is in the database for the theme you chose which it remembers and tries to load. You could try removing the forum template folder from your theme folder and see if that works in the mean time.

OK heres' the problem. You tried to use a Forum phpBB tempalte as a Nuke theme. That temaplte you downlaoded, goes in your modules/Forums/tempaltes folder. Teh Nuke part of the theme goes in the themes folder. They are 2 different things.
I need the name of one of your WORKING themes that are in your themes folder on your FTP.

Mikem I allready explained that to him, and what he downloaded did not even have a nuke part in it. It is only a forum template, I know cause I downloaded it to check it.
